Berilo de Maio (Esmeralda)

Bought this to wear on my niece's birthday since she's a May baby, and the 4mm stone is the perfect size, not flashy but still noticeable. The jump ring slipped onto my existing chain easily and my skin hasn't had any reaction, which is rare for me with jewelry.

The emerald green on this little charm is way more vivid in person than I expected, and it sits flat against my collarbone instead of flipping around. I've worn it daily for a month with no green mark on my skin, which is why I switched to gold filled in the first place.

The emerald stone is a deeper green than the photos suggest, which I actually prefer. It's been a few weeks and the gold fill hasn't dulled at all, even with daily wear. Only wish the jump ring were a touch bigger so it fit my thicker chain.
